The WOW Classic Phase 2 Will Release in This Week

Nov-12-2019 PST

The release date of the second phase of WOW Classic has been set by Blizzard this week, Blizzard will be a wave higher than the wave until the release of the world leader. Blizzard has revealed plans to launch the second phase of WOW Classic content and features this week starting November 11.

Now, part of the second phase is already online, such as Dire Maul Dungeon, which opened on October 15th. Other content was postponed, and Blizzard decided to postpone the release of Azurezgos and Kazzak.

However, this week will see the final "WOW Classics Phase II" content go live, including the fans' demanding features. Blizzard also warned that the WOW classic second phase release will be released within a week, which means we won't get everything at the same time.

The process begins on November 11th and the development team will update the Free Character Move service. Some areas will impose restrictions, while others will still allow for temporary transfers. But Blizzard warned that this feature can be removed at any time, making today the best time to organize the project.

“Free Character Moves from all realms to Sul’thraze (Brazil), and Loatheb (Mexico) will be closed at this time,” a message from Blizzard reveals.

“Free Character Moves will no longer be available from Atiesh, Benediction, or Yojamba (Australia).

“We strongly suggest that any players planning to use a Free Character Move do so as soon as possible. Free Character Moves may be disabled without warning at any time.”

The first part of the WOW classic release will be completed relatively quickly, and the second part will take place on Tuesday, November 12. This part is crucial for the whole process, meaning that gameplay may be disturbed. Blizzard has confirmed that unless all areas return to the single layer, they will not launch the world boss. This is to avoid any duplication in combating world leaders because they should be treated as a single threat.

WOW Classic maintenance will indicate the beginning of the stratification process, which should begin around 3 pm in the UK. It is expected that there will be an interruption and the player may queue up again in a short time.

“With scheduled weekly maintenance beginning at 7:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, all WOW Classic realms will be set to a single-layer,” a message from Blizzard explains.

“We expect some realms listed above to experience long queues after this step. We especially encourage players on Arugal, Faerlina, Herod, and Whitemane to use the Free Character Move service to avoid excessive queues.”

As mentioned above, this needs to go smoothly so that the launch of WOW Classic Phase 2 can be completed on Thursday, November 14. This is the day when the World Bosses and PvP Honor System will be added to the game through a new update. No scheduled downtime is expected on Thursday, and this new content should be available by the evening of November 14.

Blizzard says they are aiming to have the new Azuregos and Kazzak spawns available by 7pm in the UK. “At 11:00 a.m. PST on Thursday, the update will occur for all realms in this region,” a message from Blizzard adds.

“The PvP Honor system will come online, and it will become possible for Azuregos and Kazzak to spawn.”

WOW Classic is one of the minor announcements released during BlizzCon, most of which are kept in WOW. Shadowlands was confirmed as the next major expansion for the game, with a big cinematic showing the fall of the Lich King. The WOW Classic Phase 2 release scheduled should be completed by Friday, November 15, for all players.
